The current rating of components in Europe is determined by monitoring the temperature of the metal conductor as the current increases. lower than the rated value so as to ensure that they can operate
reliably within the desired temperature range. In some cases,
materials suitable for a compact packaged device may not meet the
heat dissipation requirements well. Therefore, the current of such
a terminal device must be significantly lower than the rated value.
