Protection Flame Retardants
Flame retardant chemicals are used in commercial and consumer
products (like furniture and building insulation) to meet flammability standards. Not all flame retardants present
concerns, but the following types often do:
- Halogenated flame retardants (also known as organohalogen flame retardants) containing chlorine or bromine bonded to carbon.
- Organophosphorous flame retardants containing phosphorous bonded to carbon.
For these types of flame retardants:
- Some are associated with health and environmental concerns
- Many are inadequately tested for safety
- They provide questionable fire safety benefits as used in some products
When added to different materials, flame retardants can help
prevent fires from starting or limit their spread. Flame retardants
provide consumers with a critical layer of fire protection and are
vital to reducing the risks associated with fire.
DESCRIPTIONS:
Intumescent flame retardant containing N-P cage macromolecule is high-performance flame
retardant with acid source, carbon source and gas source into
one.It is environmental,and non-toxic in the process of
producing.The item can replace classical system(which consists of
ammonium polyphosphate, melamine, pentaerythritol system)

REFERENCE FORMULA
Zhuoan® IFR101-Aintumescent flame retardant is a macromolecular
compound with good stability, good compatibility with organic
emulsion, insoluble in water, difficult to precipitate and good
water resistance. Often with the polyvinyl acetate emulsion,
water-based acrylic emulsion, silicon-acrylic emulsion,
polyvinylidene chloride emulsion with the use of emulsion.The
formula foaming up to 10-15 times, has good water resistance and
weather ability. Fire retardant paint manufacturers according to
the actual expansion ratio requirements increase or decrease the
amount of flame retardant added.

Are there bromides or formaldehyde in any of Zhuoan®’s products?
No. Since it's invention, Zhuoan® fire-retardant have never been
toxic. While formaldehyde might be considered non-toxic at very low
levels, it remains as being a known carcinogen and we will not use it. We believe fire and flame retardants that contain toxic chemicals
give the industry a bad name.
Can one product fire retard all materials?
No. Different materials require different products. For example,
would you apply a latex-based paint to fabric? Our expertise allows
us to always recommend the right Zhuoan® product for your specific
needs.
Can I fire retard the material myself or do I have to be a licensed
applicator?
With most applications, you can use the fire retard material yourself—as long as you closely follow the
application instructions. Because our products are non-toxic and
odorless, you can use a garden sprayer or an airless paint sprayer
to apply our liquid fire retardants. Also, since most of our
products are penetrants, you don’t have to check a mil thickness.
