Overview

- For connecting solenoid valves, contactors, low-power motors, lamps and motor starters
Application
Digital output modules can be used to output digital signals from the control to the process. They convert the internal signal levels of the S7-300 into the external signal levels required for the process.
They are suitable e.g., for connecting solenoid valves, contactors, small-power motors, lamps and motor starters.
Function
Digital output modules convert the internal signal level of the controller (logical "0" or "1") to the external signal level required by the process.
Various output voltages support the output of different process signals:
- 24 V DC, rated current 0.5 A/channel
- 24 V DC, rated current 2 A/channel
- 48 to 125 V DC
- 120/230 V AC
Apart from cost-effective, easy-to-handle digital output modules, modules with special functions are also available for process engineering.
Special modules are also available for process engineering which, for example, support the NAMUR standard.
